Mackenzie joined Looking Back in 2014.  While also attending Banting Memorial High School, she finds a balance between her school work and being at the barn.   

 

Mackenzie started out in the pony ranks, with her pony Sir Elton and now competes in it all, hunters, jumpers and equitation.

 

In 2014 with Delany, Mackenzie stepped up into the Junior Hunter division and Equitation, as well as dabbling in the Hunter Derbies for some added fun.  In the overall Ontario standings Mackenize and Delany finished 7th in the Junior Hunters.      

 

In 2015 Mackenzie formed a new partnership with Castor whom she competed in the equitation and Junior Hunters with, qualifying and competing in both at the Royal Winter Fair.  She finised 6th in the National Jump Canada Medal Finals.  In the overall Jump Canada Medal stanidngs she was third in the Ontario point standings.

 

This year she is planning a move from the equitation divisions to the higher jumper divisions with Castor and is hoping to earn a spot on the Canadian Junior Young Riders Team.  As well she has a new partner for the hunter division's, Contact.
