Dannie Murphy

Dannie and her sister Stevie hail from Charlottetown, PEI.  They have both been training with Erynn and spending their summers and winters with Looking Back for many years now.  Dannie also attends Queen Charlotte Intermediate, balancing her scheudle between school and horses.

Dannie started out in the pony ranks, with her ponies Push to Play and Blue Jeans competing on the East coast and representing the East at the Royal Winter Fair.  Dannie now competes in it all, hunters, jumpers and equitation.  This winter in Florida she has steped up into the High Junior Jumpers with her new horse Crunch.

In 2015 Dannie spent the majority of her summer in Ontario, competing, riding and helping out around the farm.  She qualified and competed at the Royal Winter Fair in the Junior Hunters (winning a class), the Jump Canada Medal (finishing 5th) and the Junior 1.20m Jumpers (second place in the stake).  In the overall Ontario standings she finished 4th in the Junior Hunters with Asten and 4th in the Junior/Amateur 1.20m Jumpers with Missi Cassini.  In Canada, in the Jump Canada Medal stanidngs she was the top point earner in Atlantic Canada (second in Ontario) with Elmo.

She is hoping to continue her momentum and success off of the Florida circuit where she has been competitive in all of the equitation classes and medals and starting to compete in the High Junior Jumpers she is hoping to earn a spot on the Canadian Junior Young Riders Team.
